Pups Time to Shine

A little about the project, or challenge, I have embarked on....

A couple of professional, award-winning, pet photographers, one located in New Zealand and the other in Australia, created a six-month challenge for pet photographers to hone their skills with a different challenge every two weeks. Who doesn't love a good challenge?! A few of the fun challenges are color, action, composition, landscapes, etc.

So as you can imagine, some dogs are great for different aspects of this challenge: sitters, runners, water-loving, and the not-so-much...

I have some great ideas for locations in Oregon, which could be in the valley, the coast, and even the beautiful Cascade mountains.

So, with that said.....

I’m looking for a minimum of 12 amazing dogs to be part of my SIX-MONTH portrait challenge!

I'm talking action shots, water splashes, golden-hour glow — and ALL the good dogs (fast, behaved, water-loving, you name it!).

✅ Open to ALL breeds!

✅ Complimentary session — no cost to you (except travel)!

✅ You'll receive my full, pampered experience plus three digital files to share on social media, with a small watermark, as a thank you!

✅ No pressure to purchase anything, but if you fall in love with the portraits (and you will, haha), you'll have the option to order custom artwork for your home.

Sessions will happen during the magical last two hours of light, or possibly a sunrise session, during the months of May to October, at different epic locations: think beaches, trails, urban streets, and mountain lakes.

Important:

For many shots, dogs will be safely leashed.

For action/running shots, if you can't outrun your dog (who can? Haha), a reliable off-leash recall is a MUST!

Humans should be comfy walking around outdoors!

Must sign a property/model release!
