As a dog photographer in Lebanon, Oregon, I hear a lot of folks asking about dog groomers in the area. There is a great need for pet groomers as pet parents are busy juggling their lives and are looking for a reputable grooming business that will take great care of their pup as if it was their own dog. And rightfully so! This is your four-legged family member and only want the best for them.

When I dove into this project of looking up groomers, I found a lot of them! If I were to have included all of them, it would have turned into a novel. Then it came down to “how do I choose just five out of the truck load?”

I took it to social media and looked up the local community pages, and compiled a list of groomers in the Willamette Valley (Sweet Home, Lebanon, and Albany) that were suggested in the comments of groomer-related posts. This list shows five dog groomers that have a stationary business, one you take your pup to, and will have a list of mobile groomers in a future blog. I will update with a link when it’s ready.

These are in no particular order, and like I stated, they were in the comments of social media posts. I have not had any interactions with them but thought it would be a great place to start. I researched their social media pages, website (if they have one), and/or Google Business page for reviews and what they are all about.

Country Style Pet Salon located inside the Sweet Home Feed & Supply in Sweet Home, Oregon. This pet salon offers a variety of services in a calm, low-stress environment ensuring your dog is well taken care of and comfortable. Many top-star reviews.

Halsey Pet Parlor is a full-service luxury dog grooming facility. They are a one-on-one grooming salon, focusing solely on your pup during their appointment. They also offer grooming for your cat. Great reviews from clients. As their name states, this groomer is located in Halsey.

At Good Dog Salon, their focus is on “mindful grooming and compassionate canine care.”  They are located in North Albany. They have 23 five-star, happy puppy reviews on their Google Business Profile, with a bunch of fancy, pretty puppy photos on their social media page. Go check them out.

A Dog’s Life – Self-Serve & Professional Grooming, here is a dog grooming establishment in Albany that offers professional grooming by appointment or self-service grooming (no appointment needed). From the tub to adjustable tables for your grooming comfort, dryers and some grooming supplies are available for you to use. Top off your sparkly pup with a complimentary bandana and treat. Check it out for your dog’s next spa day. Many positive reviews too.

Trained ‘n Tidy LLC is located in downtown Albany and provides services of nail trims, baths, full body clips, and maintenance education to help the dog parent keep their pup tidy between visits. They provide private grooming sessions for you dog with a positive-based approach. This establishment has many great reviews from their clients.

These are just the few of the many groomers I found in a quick search on social media covering a generous area within the Willamette Valley. As many of us have grooming needs for our tail-wagging, four-legged best friends, I hope this short list serves you in a good way.
