Product Offerings - Out West Originals Photography - Oregon Pet Photographer

As we rolled into a new year, I spent some time going through my product offerings to update product lines. I’m excited to offer my pet portrait clients a few new products, while keeping the originals products, for more there is more variety to choose from.

Some say more choices makes it more difficult or overwhelming for portrait clients and cause decision fatigue. That may be true in some instances. However, part of my pet photography business is about guiding my clients through the designing of art work that best fits their style and home. This is a fun process, when they can see how their images will look in different options - being wall art, albums, or tabletop displays – they get more excited, have a better vision, and feel confident about their art choices.

So, let’s get to the product that I offer....

A three piece wall art gallery hangs on a wall above a rust colored, leather sofa, in a living room.
A four photo collage of an Anatolian Shepherd in a forested, waterfall setting is framed and matted hanging on a wall above a desk.
A light wood matted and framed print of a white dog hangs on a living room wall in a home.

March 2026 Edit:

I have recently learned that the vendor offering the rustic frames are closing their doors at the end of March. I was saddened to read this email for several reasons - a small business closing their doors and I really loved their product!

With this new information, I am currently researching another vendor, U.S.A based, that offers this style of framing. All the product may not be recovered, like the round frames and print box, but I will find a comparable frame with the rustic charm in the traditional style.

Gallery-wrapped canvas and metals are offered as well with an option to add a float-frame. What’s a float frame, you ask? The canvas or metal print is set in the frame with about an 1/8 of an inch space between the two, creating an illusion the art is floating in the frame.

Framed Prints have been added to the list of wall art options. If the rustic flavor of frames is not your style but still want a matted and framed print, this is a terrific option. The wood frames come in a few different frame thicknesses and colors, add a mat to help frame the print and you have a timeless piece of art showcasing your favorite furry friend.

Any of these wall art options can be combined to create a gallery wall that will make your house feel cozier. Gallery walls are customized to fit your space using three or more art pieces.

More framed options that I brought back to my product offerings are collage frames. These come in three, four, or nine image collages. The collage frames are a great option for those that have a small wall space and want several prints that tell a story.

An open album with layflat pages showing two images of a brown and white dog in a forested setting
A top-down view of an album open, fanned out sitting on a table.
A closed album with cream colored leather cover laying on a table.

Albums

Albums are still a staple. They are handcrafted pieces of art that encompass 20 of your favorite images from your pet’s photo session, telling a story of that day. You will love sitting on the couch, turning each page to see your beloved dog or horse. Truly a work of art that you won’t regret investing in.

Gift Prints and Holiday Cards are offered as add-ons.

Two seasonal cards sit on a table, one with cowgirl on horseback and the other of two dogs by a river
Two prints sit on a mantle in a wooden holder with images of cowgirls, a horse, and dog.
A small framed photo of a horse sits on a wooden shelf with dried floral decorations.

I will add that I have researched and found photography labs that are located in the U.S.A. and craft their product at their locations. Having attended the photography conference last month, to read that blog go here, I talked with various vendors and the ones that I have chosen to do business with are among the best around.
